That Darn Tornado—On April 27, 2011, a tornado changed the landscape of Alabama. Nearby Tuscaloosa was devastated. As you drive to this cache, you now can see for miles to the West and to the East where trees and homes used to be. You passed an area where lives were lost. The terrain for this cache would have been hard enough but that darn tornado threw in an extra element of difficulty. To approach this cache, be sure to take the path that is beyond the bathrooms and follows the shoreline.
