NanCycle: Went to check on it today. It's not where I placed it, which is pretty clearly shown in the photos I posted. It's getting too difficult for me to be climbing around in the rocks, so I'm going to let this one go.

Geocache Description:

One of a series of caches recognizing figures from Pueblo's early days.


Stephen S. Smith arrived in the Pueblo area late in 1858 and, when Pueblo County was organized in 1862, was first its appointed and then elected County Clerk. He later held various other offices including Postmaster, was a prospector for a time, and then an elevator operator in the Federal Building.
