Geocache Description:

Come and join us for a meet and greet up in the Northwest Angle.  The goal here is to hold an event at THE northern most point, accessible by vehicle, within the lower 48 contiguous states of the United States.

What:  Meet and Greet
Who: EVERYONE is invited, young and old, geocachers and non-geocachers.
Where: N49 20.703 W94 58.217, Young's Marina Parking, Northwest Angle, Minnesota, PASSPORT REQUIRED UNLESS YOU COME BY SEA.
When: 11:30am to NOON, DON'T BE LATE. Charter to Garden Island to follow

ATTENTION: The event and charter gathering are now listed the same as N49 20.703 W94 58.217. We'll have event festivities while we're waiting for the charter to be coordinated. The event will officially start at 11:30am, or perhaps a bit earlier when I arrive, and will continue until we depart for the charter at noon. DON'T BE LATE. WE CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU. PLEASE consider your border crossing in your planning. And do NOT forget to stop at Jim's Corner on the way in. The DHS is watching.

We'll meet and chitchat, have a small bite to eat, and then disperse throughout the area to geocache.  There may be an attempt to find the cache on Penasse Island if sea transportation can be worked out.

While he is MORE than welcome to attend, I doubt Doublemoose will be joining us in song. It would be great if he did.

Feel free to arrange precaching and post-caching get-togethers either here on the event listing or on the MNGCA forums.

Ratings are based on the difficulty getting to this area.
See you there.
