Geocache Description:

Quick C&D so our lame friend can hobble to a cache.

It was a warm sunny day. A man, was walking leisurely over some rocks. In the near/far distance was a boy jumping nimbly from rock to rock filled with glee an mirth. He was so nimble when he leapt it almost seemed as if then he had wings to float him between landing.

The man watched with mild interest as the boy's track brought him closer. Suddenly (not half the man he used to be) the man saw the boy was heading straight for a dropoff that he couldn't possibly see. The boy's mirth was so present (mir or mirth) that the man knew he would continue to leap and fall straight down the embankment and cause serious injury to himself and his glee.

So, the man quickly (notice I didn't say nimbly) made a beeline (slow bee) tangential to the drop off but with and intersecting trajectory with the path of boy. He was within step of the boy when he realized that he wouldn't reach him in time. This time he did leap and as he did a blinding white light filled his vision.

Then, he awoke under a pine tree without a bison in site on a bed of pine needles. There was a horrabulous pain in his foot but it was quickly forgotten by the angelic beauty hover over him (I mean hover because she had wings get it).

He spoke "the boy?"

she said "He is fine. You saved him and we thank you".

He said "my foot" (quite the conversationalist huh?)

she said "We cannot draw out your pain but rest assure since you have saved one of us we will be watching. And there will come a time when you truly need us and we will be there"

And with that she flew away disappearing when she was only a few feet from where he lay.

Our hero then hobbled back down the trail wondering if everything that had just happened really happened. Or, if he just fell over a rock hurt his foot bumped his head and blacked out for a few minutes.
