Geocache Description:

****IMPORTANT****
DO NOT CLIMB DOWN THE CLIFF FACE FROM ABOVE. ACCESS IS FROM THE POOL AREA. THE VEGETATION AND DIRT TRACK AREAS OF THE CLIFF FACE ARE UNSTABLE.

On 24th June, 2011, A Decent Proposal was made very close to this spot.

The time was approx 10pm, and after a lovely meal at the nearby Deck Restaurant to celebrate our 12 month anniversary of being together, a lovely young lady was coaxed to this very site with the promise of what she thought would be finding a cache.

The cache was hidden earlier in the day by 2 accomplices - namely Calypso62 and Geotooter. Inside this cache was a top secret mission for the lovely young lady to carry out.

After she located the container and sat down on the nearby rock and read the mission notes, she was given her Decent Proposal.

So taking a step back and reaching into my pocket, I got down on one knee. Holding an engagement ring, I said:

"You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Would to do me the honour of becoming my Wife? Will You Marry Me?"

With tears running down her face, she said "Yes" and that was all she could muster as I had made her speechless with happiness.

While we sat there a while to soak up the moment a very Bright Shooting Star streaked across the sky. We believed that a message had been sent from up above, bringing us the sign of good luck for our upcoming marriage. Our family members on both sides that had gone before us had obviously approved of our relationship.

Her mission as she found out at 6am the following morning, was to fly to Melbourne for the weekend, to celebrate our engagement and explore a city she had never been to before, all while soaking up the events of the previous night.

The cache itself now sits in same area, although not 100% in the same spot as the proposal, however I wanted to share our story and to commemorate the events of the evening.
Please enjoy this location and take care in and around the rocks area.

The rocks can be slippery at times and may not be accessible when the tide is up. Please ensure that you return the cache to the same spot and cover as you found it.
