This cache is part of the “Mid North Coast Wander” series of 201 caches. The series will take you on a magnificent journey highlighting this spectacular region. Starting at the base of Middle Brother and finishing at Pilots Beach Dunbogan, this 160 km trail is truly quite stunning and we are sure you will have a wonderful time touring the area.

A highlight of the Wander is this view over the Manning River valley from Newbys Lookout.
Route note
MNCW caches in the range 112 to 116 are along Fords Road which, though well potholed, carries a surprising amount of traffic. Some loggers also use Fords Road to access their coupes.
All caches are placed near convenient pull-offs or where you can safely draw to the side of the road.
The locale
Cattle properties front Fords Road through to Juhles Mountain Road. The road crosses Pipe Clay Creek here. There must be dozens of “Pipe Clay Creeks” around Australia

The cache
A small camo container under rocks. If coming from the north (and in order of cache numbering) pull into the farm paddock entrance on the left just before the bridge. Good for kids but watch them on the road, as you have to cross the bridge to get this cache.
