Geocache Description:

This small cemetery about 2 miles south of Perry, Missouri was once a private family cemetery that was later turned over to the local Presbyterian Church. it is currently in the hands of the Ralls County Historical Society.

One of the persons laid to rest in this cemetery is John Wade who was one of ten Confederate sympathizers that were slain by Union forces at the Palmyra Massacre in October of 1862.

This small cemetery is located adjacent to Highway 19 on the east side of the road. Parking is limited and if south bound it may be necessary to go to the gravel road south of this cemetery and then come back to the north and park along the Highway 19 shoulder. Be aware of traffic when exiting or re-entering your vehicle if you need to park along the road shoulder.

In dryer weather you can pull into the dirt and grass approach entrance and walk to the cache from there.

*Permission for placing this cache was granted by Ralls County Historical Society*
