This is the site of the original Mimis' restaurant. Mimi and her husband eventually opened two others in nearby Oswego and Fulton. Only the Fulton location remains, and is operated by Mimis' son. When Mimis' was open in Mexico they sold T-shirts with the phrase "Best by a dam site", I always thought it was a clever play on words, so I am naming some caches after it.
