Geocache Description:

A traditional cache twice the size of a film cannister suitable for small swaps and trackables/coins.

This is the second of our caches in People's Park. After we saw that Pryvet Comrade was archived we could not resist placing a second cache at this side of the Park to balance out with QR in the Park.

This  is a great place to come for a walk or bring children and as with QR in the Park we wanted a cache large enough for swaps as the kids love finding caches with "treasure"!

Please respect the park. The cache does not require you to walk over any flower beds or borders. Why not practice a bit of CITO (Cache In Trash Out) whilst there too – if you see any rubbish pick it up and place it in a bin.
People’s Park is a great local amenity, and was the first real public Park in the town. The land was gifted by Edward Heneage, Liberal MP for Grimsby in 1881 and it opened in 1883. Situated roughly in the middle of the town, as well as the open spaces and lake, you can visit the Floral Hall and the Animal House or just sit back and relax and feed the waterfowl and ducks.
Substantial improvement works have been completed in recent years so the park now has new children’s play area, cafe and flower bed areas.
