Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in Neahwa Park as a tribute to Team-Penguin's first 25 finds. Please refer to the full description for cache details.

Hi. Thanks for visiting our cache page. This cache is not your ordinary cache. It's a tribute. A memorial. A celebration. The candles on the cake. The "25" on the balloons. It's a cache dedicated to the great cachers who hid great caches for us to find in our first 25 finds. Team-Penguin would like to thank:

monet37, El Fartero, Kiltlifter Scott, JuneNY, Mr. Science, IrishTALA, craig2ur1, 69CSM, Spunky123 with the AJM Team, Team Nitro, Team-Frog, Rollingboulderz, courtgood, lorien1625, and GemnTT for hiding our first 25 finds- they were great. We'd also like to thank all the geocachers who have contributed to our geocaching experience by placing caches that we did not seek or could not find. We still enjoyed your contributions to the geocaching community, even though we didn't get a smiley from them. Now we'd like to put in some special words of thanks to some outstanding geocachers who hid some outstanding geocaches and put in a word for out favorites.

Here's our Outstanding Geocachers Awards for our first 25 finds:

monet37 and El Fartero are tied at six caches apiece for the most finds of ours hidden. Thanks!

Most inspirational geocacher(s) to us during this time: Team-Ducky. Although we didn't find any of your caches (that should change pretty soon), we did have a wonderful time reading your awesome logs and ducky swag you left a trail of on nearly all the local caches.

Best geocaching nickname: Kiltlifter Scott. Priceless. (By the way, thanks for the two caches you hid for us. They were awesome.)

Now here's our Outstanding Geocaches Awards for our first 25 finds:

Best cache container: monet37's "HD LP Cache" (GC2GA8A)

Trickiest cache location: El Fartero's "Heaven On Route Seven" (GC2JTW8)

Hardest geocache to find (by the numbers- difficulty+terrain): Tie between Mr. Science's "Gordy Robinson's Welcome to Cooperstown" (GC2V0Z2) and El Fartero's "To The Batcave!" (GC1JK2N)

Hardest geocache to find (in our opinion): El Fartero's "Jewish Cemetery Cache" (GC1J846)

Best View From Cache Location: Tie between El Fartero's "To The Batcave!" (GC1J846) and 69CSM's "Susquehanna View" (GC1EADW)

Best hint: courtgood's "Otego Cemetery" (GC1V0QF)

First Tracking Bug ever: GemnTT's "On the Beaverkill" (GC1XDJC)

Golden Stinker Of The DNF (one cache that simply stumped us): Tundra Wolf's "Always #59 Oneonta" (GC2W10W)

Thanks to all the great geocachers who made our first 25 finds so enjoyable. Now, for the cache details.

Besides the information already given in the diffculty, terrain, size ratings, and the hint, the only other thing we will tell you is that the cache is covered with something. Please do not leave any swag in the cache except for family-friendly items that do not obstruct the seal of the container. The cache has a large piece of paper which explains what a geocache is to mugglers- do not sign this sheet- a smaller sheet with spaces to write- sign that- and a smaller piece of paper with insrtuctions on locating the First To Find prize, which is located nearby. Please return cache exactly as you found it to deter muggling, and if its covering is completely gone and it is sticking right out in the open, please put some bark or other covering on it so that it is still visible if you look closely but not to your average muggle. Then drop us a line and we'll make sure it's OKed for more seekers. Thank you and have fun!
