Geocache Description:


This cache is located near (but not within) the Mississippi Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.  The cemetery is located between US Hwy 80 and Interstate 20 approximately 3 miles east of city of Newton, MS, on property donated by Mississippi State University.  The cemetery was built beginning in 2009 and was dedicated in May 2011.  More information about the cemetery is available at the following website:  http://www.vab.ms.gov/veteransmemorialcemetery/index.shtml

The cemetery is open daily from dawn until dusk.  Visit the cemetery and honor the fallen soldiers while in the area.
