Thank you to BeeCrzyCachers FTFF. On the Ball. The final location is only available during normal business hours (whatever those may be). This is my first multicache, I have been desiring to do one but could not find a theme that is motivating enough… until now. I hope you enjoy running the gauntlet; any troubles please let me know. The locations are all over Santa Maria, so it is not a quick walk.
I know that it becomes difficult and frustrating when a piece of a multicache is missing or difficult to find. Therefore I tried to give this multicache the ability to be finished in the case that pieces are missing. I wanted to do this in order to maintain the integrity of the hunt. With that in mind there are actual caches at most of the puzzle locations and are accessible to be found along the way. (Start) N 34° 56.043 W 120° 25.603 You will be missed: The month that this memorial was constructed = A. (ex. Jan=1, Feb=2 etc.) Then add one to that number to find B. A+1=B. Use this to find the next location. (1st waypoint) N 34° 57.1A4 W 120° 24.ABB Thank you, from the nation: This is BOTH a log location, AND there is a number at this location. The number found at this location = C This is the location of one of the logbooks and a stuff location for the multicache but not the finish (the final one is a micro). So please sign the log and exchange swag (small container, if needed I will swap it out for something bigger). Please finish the journey to log it online. (2nd Waypoint) N C4° AB.8CC W 120° 2B.0C4 We will never forget: There is a cache already at this location. Once you have completed the Virtual Cache (In honor of...) found at these coordinates, using the numbers asked for in that cache and add the two numbers in the day together, then use that number = D. (Example, 23 is 2+3 = 5, 18 is 1+8=9) (3rd Waypoint) N C4° AB.AD7 W 1D0° DB.44B Always Vigilant: At this location there is a sign, on this sign there is a month. The number of the month - 1=E (ex. Jan 1-1=0, Feb 2-1=1 etc.) (Final Location) N C4° AE.4EA W 1D0° DB.CAE Thank you, from each of us: Hint: Have an idea, where you would once call a friend. The satellite reception in this location is one of those Bermuda triangles. An optional quest for this cache could be to take a picture of yourself or GPS at this location and post it with your log.
