Nice drive along Oregon Mountain road and over the Collier tunnel.
Cache is a 50 cal ammo can hidden to allow for a quick side road trip off hi-way 199.
This series will take you for a drive in the mountains on paved and gravel roads. The roads are maintained and most vehicles will have no problems.
What is a Richee Beater you ask?
Back in early 2012 IVHS72 (aka:Grateful Cacher) was gaining ground and getting ready to pass IVHS76 in cache count.
When we got to go caching during this time we came up with the new name for quick drive up caches that added numbers. They gave us the count to prolong the time it took Richee to BEAT us up. The new Richee Beaters have had similar names such as GRC’s, MP’s, Goobers, and many more.
Many in the series are just number builders but a few are small to big containers to allow for swag trading and moving TB’s.
We hope your numbers improve with a few of these Richee Beaters placed for fun.
Enjoy the drive on this special section of road. This was once the main hi-way prior to the Collier Tunnel located down the ridge line.
