This is a micro cache hidden on the old approach to a stile in a very well hidden footpath at the side of the Glenfield to Kirby Muxloe/Leicester Forest East road.
Parking can be found either back down the road by my other cache Cross Connection Chamber, where there is room for two cars to park, or by another local cache, just over from the roundabout, Mechanical Monsters - The Bridge That Was. Either car Parking space will give you a couple of minutes walk along the side of a road, where there is a very large grass verge to walk along, but there is no footpath, so please keep the children close to hand.
The cache is located partway down the slope from the Public Footpath sign headed towards the stile at the bottom, which is a public footpath that I never even knew existed until a few days ago.
The cache is a micro size, roughly the side of about 4 nano's, if you see what I mean. The cache only contains a logsheet, so please bring along something to sign the log with.
Update: A few years ago, the footpath access was changed, you used to step over the armco and go straight down to the bridge and gate. It is now a diagonal path down. The easiest way to access is to go down the new path, stand with your back to the gate and look up the bank and its pretty much ahead of you.
