Geocache Description:

Simple Concept, Difficult Execution:
Ten (or More) Different Cache Icons each with Ten (or More) Finds.

The park is only open from dawn to dusk. Do not cache from the road; please use the parking lot and walk the 0.2 miles round trip.

This should be a bit of a trick to do, but it is certainly not impossible. In fact, I've done 10 icons in 1 day: Traditional, Multicache, Mystery/Unknown, Letterbox, Earthcache, Wherigo, Event, Mega-Event, Virtual, and Webcam. Add to those types the Block Parties (although you'll need to be patient there), Maze Exhibits (although you'll need to be patient there too), and CITO events (which I highly recommended setting up). In fact, some of the oldtimers might even have APE or Locationless caches (so apparently, I'm an oldtimer).

So how do you know if you've hit your 10x10? Simple. Go to your statistics page and see. Voilà. Do you have at least 10 finds on at least 10 geocaching icons? If so, come and get it.

FAQ: Do benchmarks or "challenges" count? No. They're not amongst the 17 "findable" geocache icons listed. Challenge Caches (with Blue Question Marks), however, would count towards Unknown Caches.

FAQ: Can this really be done in this modern era of caching? Let's see: There are eight types of cache that one can publish themselves: 1. Traditional, 2. Multicache, 3. Unknown, 4. Event, 5. CITO Event, 6. Letterbox Hybrid, 7. Earthcache, 8. Wherigo. Next, some events go 9. Mega Event. So, the real trick is to find that elusive 10th icon. Suggested: Virtuals, Webcams, or visit Groundspeak a lot. But it can be done with planning.

FAQ: Can I sign the logbook in advance of qualifying? Absolutely. Please log your "Write Note" when you do. Then, upgrade to a "Found It" when you qualify.

FAQ: What are the real coordinates? The posted coordinates ARE the real coordinates.
