Our first hide commemorates Australia’s worst performance at Wimbledon in over 70 years.
As relative newcomers to geocaching, we are hooked and the geokids have been asking when we will set up a cache. What better time than school holidays and in the midst of one of history's finest tennis tournaments?
The cache is located in a grassy corner of an appropriately named street, a short hop from a park which honors one of the sport’s finest recent players, (and one who is easy on the eye, according to Mrs Brucemoose!)
After finding the cache, you may like to visit the park which has a play area for young children, a gas BBQ and an open space to kick a footy around.
You are looking for a Sistema container, stocked with some swaps, a log and pencil. Please keep the cache stocked and we’d love to see many TB’s and GC’s pass through. For the FTF, there’s the opportunity to win more than any Australian male player at this year’s Wimbledon tournament. Happy hunting!
