Llyn Berwyn is set in the Cwm Berwyn Plantation and is a beautiful 40 acre lake which has a good head of brown trout. Over the years the Tregaron Angling Association has worked hard to bring the lake back into good health after all the fish died in the 70‘s due to acidity problems. The lake has since been limed up to four times a year to neutralise the acid waters caused by pollution and the forestry.
The picturesque lake setting is being enhanced, as lakeside conifers are now being replaced by deciduous woods.
