The start of an anticlockwise walk round Aldringham. There is limited free parking nearby (N52 10.083 E 001 36.470) . The walk is about 12 kms (7 miles) with another parking spot near Aldringham Amble no 7 at about the half way mark. The area is renowned for many migrant and native birds . I have tried to make all the hides sympathetic with their surroundings. I do hope you enjoy this amble .
You will need an extraction tool (YWNAET _thereafter). If only walking it takes some 3.5 hours so there is a pub halfway round(about 1/4 mile north of turn off for AA10), and a car park at Amble 7 . There are bus stops near the pub to get you to Aldeburgh (1/2 mile from start). Walking is good and the paths reasonably cleared of plants Mosquitoes may attack you in summer around 3.
