This cache will bring you out to a beautiful view point close to Tambor on the Nicoya Pennsula. The Cocolito Falls are cery special in the way that the river falls right out into the ocean.
To get to the cache, follow the signs to Hotel Tango Mar, but at the entrence to the resort, keep driving straight on the bumpy dirt road. You'll see some small signs to Cocolito Falls, and you'll come to a small parking. Leave your car there and coninue on the little trail by foot. If you have a very low car it is reccommended to park at the hotel parking lot, and walk from there.
If you like hiking I recommend to cross the river and continue on the two hour walk to Montezuma. Absolutely stunning! Check out the link attached for some pictures of the walk.
NB!
Do not atempt the walk if the tide is high, youhave to wait for at least middle tide to get down to the beach from the Cocolito Falls.
And in the rainy season, be aware that the river can run high if it har rained a lot - so be very careful if you want to cross it.
The cache is small, only place for the log book.
