Geocache Description:

This is my first cache! I just bought a GPS last week and have been rediscovering the trails around my area. I noticed there weren't any cahces along my favourite trails though so I planted one!

My family has always made a huge deal out of Canada or Dominion Day.

Canada Day was originally called Dominion Day (French: Le Jour de la Confédération). The name was changed in 1982, the year the Canada Act was passed.

I originally planted this for my little brothers but enjoyed it so much I decided to post it.

I had some trouble getting an accurate reading for this site so I posted two hints. The top is a landmark so you know you are roughly in the right area.
The cache is approximately 6ft off the trail but is easily accessible.
