Madonna delle Rocche - Molare

La storia del Santuario e dell'intera frazione, ebbe inizio nella seconda metà del 1500 con un'apparizione della Madonna ad una contadina di Molare.
Da allora la devozione alla Maria Vergine aumentò a dismisura nel territorio molarese e nelle zone limitrofe, grazie anche a miracolose guarigioni, tanto che le ingenti offerte sfociarono nel 1608 in una delibera comunale per la realizzazione di una chiesa.
Ci volle un ventennio ma alla fine, nel 1630, vennero celebrate le prime messe in suffragio della Madonna.
Tra fasi alterne il santuario è arrivato in ottime condizioni ai giorni nostri, ora custodito dai Padri Passionisti.

Sanctuary and the entire village began in the second half of 1500 with an apparition of the Virgin Mary to a farmer.
Since then the devotion to the Virgin Mary increased enormously in the territory and the surrounding areas, thanks to miracle cures, so that the high bids resulted in a municipal resolution in 1608 to build a church.
It took twenty years but finally, in 1630, was celebrated the first Masses for the repose of the Virgin Mary.
Now the Sanctuary, in excellent conditions, is guarded by the Passionist Fathers.
