COURTYARD OF THE RAILS
O Pátio dos Trilhos está instalado na antiga estação ferroviária de Jacareí, que foi construída em 1876, com o objetivo de transportar a produção de café da região, fazendo parte da ligação entre São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro, por ferrovia. Atualmente acolhe a sede da Fundação Cultural de Jacarehy. Além de acolher a sede, tem ainda uma conhecida sala de cine-teatro da cidade, a Sala Mário Lago. Também aqui se encontra o Núcleo de Arqueologia da Fundação.
No Pátio dos Trilhos são realizadas regularmente várias atividades culturais, tais como concertos e atividades sociais para a comunidade.
The Courtyard of the Rails is installed in the old train station of Jacareí, which was built in 1876, with the aim of transporting the coffee production of the region, being part of the connection between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, by railroad. Currently it hosts the headquarters of the Cultural Foundation of Jacarehy. In addition to host the headquarters, it still has a well known movie-theater hall of the city, the hall Mário Lago. Also here is the Archaeological Center of the Foundation.
In the Courtyard of the Rails are held regularly several cultural activities such as concerts and social activities for the community.
