What's even better than a hike in the woods? A hike in the woods IN THE DARK! You'll need a flashlight to locate this cache-- it is not at the listed coordinates.
Navigate to the coordinates, accessed by travelling to the Mount Pope hiking trail parking lot in Fort St. James, BC. Then turn on your flashlight and look for the guiding lights to lead you to the cache.
Make sure to take proper precautions for night-time journeys. It is a fairly wild area and bears could be about, so carry bear spray and/or geocache in a group.
This is our first night cache, so it might be a bit on the tame side... we'll wait to see how it works out.
Probably not winter-friendly.
