This is an ideal sunset cache at a beautifully unsung viewpoint in Leeupoort. The trek to the geocache includes a very sexy trail which has been marked with white arrows.
This cache's purpose is to let people know of a very youthful, scenic and unique trail Leeupoort has to offer, right under the noses of the residents of this village. I would recommend visiting the cache near sunset because of the viewpoint's fantastic Westerly view over the mountains.
The trail starts at the corner of Tinktinkie and Kameeldoring.
You should see the sign reading "uitkykpunt" just behind the green nursery slightly into the yard (the owner of the yard is the person who crafted this trail)
Just follow the white arrows if you are having trouble spotting the trail, which has not been treaded on much.
Trail note:
Animals who I have commonly spanked here are Warthogs, Impala, Kudu and the odd Bushbuck.
Remember nice shoes, my flops have on numerous occasions proven to be thorn magnets.
In summertimes snakes could be active along the route (as with any part of the bush), so make sure you have a handy stick with you.
Cache details:
The cache is on your right as you sit on the bench It is about 2 m high sticking out of a hole in the tree. Enjoy!
