A nice park in Southern Erie County, Sprague Brook Park.
Our First hide.
Park at mentioned coordinates; on foot(or bike) head across the bridge, and go 'downstream' on trail. NO NEED to get wet on this cache hunt, but the creek is a favorite of locals to splash and play in. The narrow trail is easy to follow, and marked with green park trail-markers. It about a one-half mile hike each way. Easy walk, the 7 yr old in the E-Crew made it carrying a backpack full of water-bottles for all of us.
Watch out for mountain bikers, this area is popular for them.
Item is not a hard find, not far off trail...remember...NO NEED to get wet.
We loaded it up with 4 of our own travel bugs, one for each of the E-Crew, each exemplifying our own individuality. Also is a travel bug we have had for way too long...sorry...but he has new freinds and is on his way again. We ask you take one TB and move him/her along. We hope other TBs will stop by to our 'WNY Rest Area'.
Only a blank log book and pencil for FTF...nothing fancy, but remember the hunt is the fun, the find is the reward.
