This cache is near the base of a trail going up one my favorite hiking spots.
There is space to park at the end of Monona Drive which meets the Phoenix Mountain Preserves. You will need to walk about 500 yards to the cache site. The cache is near the base of a trail heading up the mountain. Few people seem to be aware of this trail as I have never seen anybody else on it. There are more popular trails that go up. If you have long arms you can reach the cache without moving a protective rock. The cache has room for small trading items. I placed a couple large bills for debt busting along with some coins.
