Geocache Description:

Happy Birthday, Dad!  This cache is placed in a publicly-accessible area, with the enthusiastic permission of management.

This cache is one of two caches placed as a birthday present to my dad, who is the manager of a nearby garden.  The cache title is in reference to how many people (mis)pronounce the word "bonsai".  Lots of people pronounce it like "bahn-zhai", which is actually a Japanese exclamation - it translates as, literally, "ten thousand years".

Bonsai, on the other hand, are pronounced "bone-sigh", and refer to the Japanese art form of sculpting and grooming miniature trees.  My dad has been a bonsai enthusiast for most of his life, and has had the good fortune to turn his hobby into a career!

After the last container got muggled, the new one was placed in a less public location. This cache is about 2/10 of a mile down a publicly-available path that snakes its way throughout the grounds. It is a beautiful hike, and well worth extra time to enjoy the area! It is, however, under tree cover, so GPS signal was a little jumpy.

You are looking for an ammo box.  The cache is just off of the trail - no tromping through brush is necessary!

Congratulations to 2nd1of3 on FTF! My Dad was so excited about the caches being placed that he forgot to notify Security about them (Sorry, McMorrows!). However, the issue has been rectified and now everyone who needs to know should know.
