Bronco's Girl: There are still a few who have not logged their attendance, but they can do that even after I archive this one. I am putting this Fired Up event to bed and going to start planning for next year.

It is time for the fourth annual Fired Up for Geocaching Event. It will be held on August 25, 2012, the last Saturday in August, in Smackover, Arkansas. The pavilion in this kid-friendly park has been reserved from noon until ?? but I suggest you begin gathering after 3:00 if it is a very hot day. Grilled hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided. The rest of the food is potluck. If you can bring drinks, buns, chips, desserts, paper products, etc., please do so. If you want to volunteer for something, just post a note or e-mail me or allenearl58.
The event has its own Facebook page. Also, if you go to the archived events for 2009 (GC1RJG7), 2010 (GC29GBZ) and 2011 (GC303EP), you will see how much fun we have.
If you would like to donate a gift to be given away as a door prize, we would be happy to put it on the door prize and give-away table. As usual, we would like to know in advance if you will be celebrating a geocaching milestone and will be attending the event. In order to be recognized, we need the info about your milestone by Sunday, August 19. Just post your info in a note on the event page or e-mail me @ cjhnsn@sbcglobal.net.
There are a lot of new geocachers in our area and if you own caches that have been found by newer geocachers, please send them an e-mail PERSONALLY inviting them to this event and to our G.L.A.D. meetings. G.L.A.D. stands for Geocachers - Lower Arkansas Division.
So, bring a lawn chair, another geocacher, your trackable items and your GPSR and come on to Smackover the last Saturday in August.
