Here's an awesome tree that's full of great hiding spots. You're looking for a large 50 cal ammo can. You will probably need one or more special tools to retrieve the cache. I didn't see any critters here when I placed the cache, but it looks like they enjoy this tree too so please be cautious of that. As always, if you're not comfortable with the situation please don't attempt it.
It was brought to my attention that this tree is on the cover of the book, "Nuggets of History" by Birdell Paine Butson. According to the book, this tree is called the Sentinel Tree by many long time local residents and can be seen from four miles away on highway 65 just south of Hampton. It can also be seen from four miles the other direction on the Ackley blacktop, south of Geneva. Imagine what a view there must be from the top of this great beacon!! ***Congrats TeamTwinV, FTF***
