Prickly Pears Traditional Cache
not2b: The cache is gone, some of the cactus has been removed, and erosion makes this spot unsafe so I am letting it go.

A simple cache near Los Gatos Creek.
There have been a number of caches in this area. It gets plenty of traffic so they tend not to last long. But it's such a beautiful trail that I'd like to give experienced cachers in the area one more reason to come back, and to encourage newer folks to take a slight detour.
This cache gives you a chance to check out some really cool (and of course non-native) prickly pear plants. Don't worry, you don't need to mess with any thorns to retrieve the hide.
Update 7/13/12: also, you don't need to go down to the creek to retrieve the hide; the 1.5 terrain rating is intentional and correct.
The log says that this is "Another Hide By The Creek". Yes, but that was a poor name. Good luck.
