Big St. Germain Lake is located north of highway 70 and west of highway 155
It is about 1,617 acres and has a maximum depth of 42ft. It is a drainage lake with an inlet (Lost Creek) on the north side from Lost Lake. It also has two other inlets, one is Plum Creek and the other is Mud Creek. The primary species in the lake are walleye, Muskie, and perch, along with Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, crappie, and Bluegill as the secondary species. The shoreline of the lake is all privately owned except for the public boat landing. The lake also has many resorts on it. Please replace the cache exactly as found.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Sonja L. Margitan of the Wisconsin DNR in Woodruff Wisconsin. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
