#20 cache by harrowang
There is so much mining history and interesting nooks and crannies to Eldorado, we just had to share another gem we found recently whilst driving around the Township.
Please note – Mobile phone reception is non-existent here, so cachers will need to use their GPS and caching nous.
Brewers Lane is named after a local family from the Eldorado community. The piece of memorabilia placed here is an old transformer from Cock’s Dredge. (There is an Earthcache at Cock’s Dredge on the other edge of the Township of Eldorado.)
We have supplied some parking co-ordinates and the cache is a very short stroll away. There are also walking tracks down to Reidy Creek from the cache site as well as other points of interest nearby. Take the time to walk or drive around this picturesque area which has a wealth of wonderful history and beautiful scenery.
There are two houses quite close to this cache, so stealth may be needed at times. The occupants of the nearest dwelling have been made aware that the cache is there and may be interested to see if you find it. They are very involved with the Eldorado Museum and can tell you about other great places to visit whilst you are here.
The cache is a micro. It contains a log sheet only, so please bring a writing implement so you can leave your mark.
FTF: Congratulations to WLS! and The Button Bandits on a joint effort!
