Geocache Description:

This is the thirty-ninth cache in my finite mathematical series. I am a math teacher by day. I thought a cache series dedicated to math would be a good way to educate the public.

The cache is not at the listed coordinates.

The abacus is basically an ancient calculator. Most advanced ancient civilizations had some form of an abacus. An abacus is simple to construct and is usually made of wood and beads. Abaci fell out of favor over the past 100 years due to modern calculators, but many areas of the world still use them to do computations. The Chinese abacus actually had an extra bead in the top deck known so it could preform base 10 calculations and base 10 calculations.

Awhile back I bought a working Chinese abacus Geocoin. It is one of my favorite coins. The other day I was driving on Devine and saw a business named Abacus. Well I knew I had to create a puzzle. The posted coordinates lead you to the business. The pictures below give you the position of the cache if you can read an abacus.
