Geocache Description:

The cache is near marker 8 on the Green Trail.  Maps are available at the Park Headquarters.  The cache is hidden a short distance off of the trail.

This is number 5 in our State Parks.  Bring your own pen because there is only room for the log. I hope you enjoy the hunt. The pink rock outcrops jutting up through the surrounding limestone are Valley Spring Gneiss (pronounced “Nice”).  It is a pinkish granite-like metamorphic rock formed from recrystallized sedimentary rocks.
