Geocache Description:

A small cache located at one of the rest areas along the Virgil Nature Trail. It is a camouflaged 1kg mayo jar with room for trackables and swag. BYOP

Welcome to the Virgil Nature Trail. This is a nice winding trail that runs through the Lower Virgil Dam and Reservoir area governed by the NPCA. Things you might see while walking along this gravel trail could range from the squirrels and coons that I saw , to the hawks and herons and fish swimming in the pond.

Here you can take a seat and rest if you need it and watch the pond for a while, it can be quite relaxing. I did take a walk further down the trail and decided not to place a cache any further than this point as the poison ivy was really taking over down there. Still is a nice walk though if you stick to the path.

Please be Respectful of the Nature area and stick to the path and don't leave anything behind other than footsteps.

Placement Guidelines as set out by the NPCA have been followed and Permission for this Placement has been granted for the period of 1 year from the date of publish.
