This series is dedicated to some of the cities and towns in Illinois that have significance to us (bocono and G-Ma-O ) . Some are small cities and others are wide spots on the road , all are special to us. Some we were born in , went to school , got married , or just lived and grew up in. Since you can't go home again we wanted to bring these memories nearby and we hope you have fun finding these caches and learning about our part of the world.
A special thankyou to Crazyteacher for her help placing these caches
bocono and G-Ma-O were married here and lived next door to the church till we moved to California
Ritchie is an unincorporated community in southern Will County, Illinois, United States. It is located along Forked Creek and Illinois Route 102, 3 miles southeast of the city of Wilmington in Wesley Township.
Ritchie is home to several dozen houses, the Wesley Township hall, a church, and a grain elevator. A railroad track passing through the community was dismantled in the 1990s, but the bridge that carried it over Forked Creek and Route 102 still remains.
