Geocache Description:

Ever since my sons discovered that Thackary owns an Air Soft range they have been pestering me to take them.  So Thackary and I came up with a plan to have a Geocaching Airsoft day!

Having thoroughly enjoyed the camping event here at Nydie a few weeks back (Thank you - Over The Fence!) we figured another camp out would make it possible for cachers from slightly further afield to attend the Airsoft Day (or not - if you just fancy camping and caching - have a look at the map - this part of Fife is covered with caches)

So we plan to be at Nydie  from about 4pm on Friday 21st September.  That evening someone will no doubt do the traditional chippie run and no doubt there will be a certain amount of clinky drinkies consumed in the classy corner.

On Saturday there will be the Airsoft out at Thackary's place just outside Crail. More info on that through another event cache Thackary will be submitting very soon.

Saturday evening we are hoping to be able to have a barbeque - if we can find someone prepared to cook with fire!  If not then I'll make Spag Bol and Spag Veg Bol cos that's about as far as my mass culinery skills will stretch!  (And no - sorry - I wont be doing breakfasts!)  So again - more info on that soon.

The campsite at Knockhill of Nydie is small and family owned.  I have reserved the area near the toilet blocks so that we can all be together and the owner is kindly allowing tents, caravans, motor homes, etc to all be mixed in together.  Prices start from £16 for a 2 person tent per night.  Glamping in Woodwams is also available right next to the area we will be in.  More info on the site and a booking form is available here http://www.nydie.co.uk/  When booking please make sure that you state that you are part of the Geocaching group and state clearly which date(s) you will be staying.

We also plan to put out a few new caches on the route from Nydie to Crail.
