The cache is a small container hidden along one of many trails threading its way in the forest around Pearson College. You need to step off the trail to find this one.
(my pen decided to pack it in JUST as I was writing the required info on the log sheet. Unfortunately I did not have my Emergency Back-up Pen with me.... so the log is empty except for a few weak scratches).
On the way to to town one of those rare, coastal, thundery days I started thinking about these little meandering trails in Metchosin. They are lovely, lovely trails to ramble about when, eventually, the summer heat is high and climbing a Sooke Hill is just too sweaty.
I poked around here and there, up and down all the while the thunder was rumbling and grumbling at me as if cold Spring and warm Summer were having an out and out fight. (summer please win!) and who knows what the weather wil do next?
The cache is hiding in an arbutus branch. You need to step up to reach it.
