in our disclaimer.
Bavigne was the command post of the 26th Infantry Division from January 20 to 22, 1945.
Earlier in December and January, Bavigne had been the CP of various battalions and companies of the 26th Infantry Division with kitchen and supply room.
The GIs were sent back from the Mon Schumann combat zone to shave, wash, get clean clothes, a hot meal and a night's sleep in a building.
On the way to the geocache, you will pass some foxholes on the crest of the hill.
Lest we forget...
Respect this place when you search for the film canister, restore the moose camouflage, BYOP and NO STICKERS!
Logs in English please.
The entrance of the path leading to the point of view is just opposite the suggested parking place at the edge of the wood. You can't miss it.
Read the hint and don't destroy anything. As always in geocaching: eyes and brains first!
