This is a small lock-n-lock hidden in McCloud Nature Park. Use the parking coords then take the Paw Paw Pass trail for quickest access to the cache. Park is open from dawn to dusk.
Wow, McCloud has been doing some work back here, and the landscape has changed since I've been back this way! When I saw recently that the McCloud Macro cache was archived, I knew I had to be the first out here to place a new hide. My good friends s1mplys1mon were over visiting, and they were SO bummed that this cache was archived because it was their very first find on 10/3/09. They stumbled upon it by accident, and introduced themselves to this great sport we all love! So.....this hide is for them! The original cache was also special to me, as it was my third find on the first day I ever cached. Here's a little history on the original that holds sentimental value for some of us.......The original McCloud Macro was hidden on 5/26/09 by the FourRushkateers. It was placed in preparation for the Nature Fair on June 6th, 2009.
You are looking for a camo'd lock-n-lock container. I did have to revise the original location by a small amount due to the work that the park has been doing to make improvements for it's many visitors. A small amount of bushwhacking will be involved during the summer months, and watch our for those stinging nettles!!!! I had my first encounter with them when I went in for the hide!!!
There is a geocaching marble for the FTF, if they choose to take it. Those that know me know that I am very fond of marbles.
