A kid friendly cache (KFC) plastic container hidden at the Hayes Nature Park in Clifton Park. Please BYOP for now - I just noticed the pencils for the cache here at my computer.. Oops!
Last summer, I attended the first mega event of New England - the Berkshire GeoBash in Pittsfield, MA. One of the things they had happening at the event was a Chinese Auction for all kinds of nice prizes. I bought a sheets worth of tickets and went around hoping I'd be lucky and have my number picked for something.
When they listed all the winners, I was completely shocked. I had won something, and it was something that had loads of other tickets in it - a stocked cache container. That's the container you'll see here when you find this cache!
Please, please, please rehide this cache carefully and make sure you can not see it from the trails. Our last cache in the area was muggled, I hope that this one will stick around a bit longer! :)
Parking for the preserve is located off of Moe Rd, just north of Thoroughbred Way. Posted hours for the preserve are 5:30 am - 10:00 pm. Please respect the hours the town has posted and only search for the cache between these times.
The cache is hidden very close to the parking area. This is a lovely preserve. Bring plenty of bug spray in the warmer months. Also, be sure to check out other caches in here - a multicache as well as another one of my hides - First to Find? Have fun!
