These wind turbines are part of a joint project between the City of BG and Green Mtn. Energy. Each tower is 256ft hi and each blade is 134ft. long. This is one big fan. It's hard to believe, must be an optical thing, but the tip of those slow moving blades are moving 178mph. For more info. you can get a brochure at the kiosk which is just up this drive.
