Geocache Description:

The Ashland Public Library is hosting it's 10th Annual Touch-A-Truck Event which sounds like a great place to gather geocachers too! This will be a quick event located within the Bookmobile area. Just look for the Bookmobile to find the log and sign your name. The Geo-Event will be happening PRIOR to the Touch-A-Truck from 9:30AM until 10:00 AM. Think of it as a Flash-Mob and we will take a picture just as the event is opening up. DON'T BE LATE!

Get ready to go to the 10th Annual Touch-A-Truck event sponsored by the Ashland Public Library and Ashland City and County Businesses. This is a family-friendly hands-on event where the kids can climb into the cab of some of their favorite vehicles and check them out up close and personal. Since I'm on staff at the Library, I asked for special permision to host a geo-event in conjunction with this one. The more the merrier is what we always say. We have been promoting Geocaching in our area for several months now. In the past at this event, we have had a wide variety of vehicles including, but not limited to: a School Bus, Firetrucks, Ambulances, Police Squads, Cranes, Farm Equipment, dump trucks, bulldozers, limos, army vehicles, and a host of other large machines.

For this event we will meet at a table located near the Bookmobile with a Geocaching symbol on it. Feel free to meet-up with your friends, family, and fellow geocachers for a limited time from 9:30 until 10:00 AM. You may also find some cookies and other treats nearby just after the official opening! Bring the families and feel free to do some caching in our area. Ashland, Ohio really is "Someplace Special!" Once the event starts we will take a photo at 10 AM. We will leave brochures about Geocaching at a table with info on it for those who may not know about this fun hobby.
