Lom Rozmital se nachazi pod hrebenem Javorich hor na severnim okraji obce Rozmital, priblizne 5 km severovychodne od Broumova. Plosny rozsah chraneneho loziskoveho uzemi je 72 ha, dobyvaci prostor ma rozlohu 41 ha.

Zjistili vyskyt 389 druhu rostlin a 1 379 druhu zivocichu. Z toho 30 druhu zivocichu je chraneno, 18 druhu rostlin a 50 druhu zivocichu je zarazeno do Cervenych seznamu ohrozenych druhu CR.
Rozmitalsky lom je jedinym mistem v kraji, kde zije nocni motyl osenice Rhyacia lucipeta, velmi vzacny je take jedovaty motyl prastevnik starckovy a drobni kovarici Zorochros meridionalis a Quasimus minutissimus. Poprve v Cechach zde byl nalezen brouk Danacea morosa z celedi Dasytidae. Na slunnych mistech se vyskytuje jesterka obecna a vzacneji i zmije obecna. Prikre skalnate svahy a sute jsou puvodnim prostredim rehka domaciho. Na Homoli obcas zaletuje i vyr velky, ktery hnizdi v opustene casti lomu. Nejvzacnejsim druhem bezobratlych je drevomilka Xylomya maculata, ktera se vyviji v trouchnivem dreve. Jde o prvni a zatim jediny nalez v Cechach. V okoli lomu se lze setkat se vzacnymi lesnimi druhy ptaku, napr. datlem cernym a sycem rousnym. K potokum v arealu lomu pravidelne leta za potravou cap cerny. Z hmyzu jsou u jezirek nejnapadnejsi vazky, kterych zde bylo zjisteno 11 druhu.

V kamenolomu Rozmital u Broumova se natacela akcni scena filmu Bastardi III, ktery reziruje nachodsky rodak Tomas Magnusek a v jehoz prvnich dvou dilech si zahrali i nekteri obcane Broumova. (Premiera filmu je naplanovana na 25. rijen 2012.)
