This mini-series was placed to coincide with the “Mega2012: Welcome Cuppa in Cumbria” (GC38FKD) event being held on Thursday 9th August 2012. It comprises a short flat walk of about one mile across a field and along the canal side.
After sitting in the car for a long period it’s a great opportunity to stretch the legs, take the dog for a walk and let the children burn off some energy.
Parking for this series of caches is available near the Hideaway Coffee Shop, or in the lay-by on the opposite side of the road. This is close to the first cache in the series “Cuppa-1 : Car park” (GC3QT1R).
Once at the cache location you are looking for a small “Turtle” box container
After finding this cache, continue your walk to the small lane by Dove House farm. Turn right, and on reaching the minor road, right again. This will lead you to the next cache in the series, “Cuppa-3 : View of Farleton Knot”.
