Are you up for some 4x4 fun?
Then why not join us for a romp in the bush.
It is preferable if you have a high clearence 4x4, but these days, the slightly lower ones have proven to get to most places the big boys do.
We will be meeting at GZ at 920am and LEAVING at 930am, no later. We will be using Channel 11.
There will be at least 2 new caches (well, if all go's as planned) that you can get as a group FTF before we leave GZ.
We will be gone all day, so bring your lunch. Some of use are bringing out portable BBQ's, but you can bring whatever you want.
Make sure you bring drinks as well.
Our FIRST HALF OF THE DAY will be up around Mount Sugarloaf / Fosterville area. There will be at least 5 NEW CACHES for you to log as GROUP FTF's, (again, if all go's to plan).
We will stop for lunch somewhere in the bush.
After lunch their will be at least 20 NEW CACHES for you to GO HUNT. You will be doing this bit on your own, but they are in a concentrated area, so you are going to have a bit of fun.
When logging your WILL ATTENDS please include the following information:
* If you have a HIGH or LOW Clearance 4x4 - THIS IS A MUST FOR US TO KNOW, AS IT WILL DETERMINE WHICH TRACKS WE USE. * Where you are coming from
* Any spare seats that you would like to offer to those that don't have a 4x4
For those departing Bendigo, some of us will be departing at S36 47.878 E144 14.594, at exactly 830am.
If you are departing Bendigo as well, and have a few spare seats, please let us know so we can post that info up here so others can decide if they would like to join in, and meet us at this point.
If you are coming from another town, say Ballarat, you are more than welcome to set up a departure point from there, just let us know the details so we can include that info here for everyone from that area to see.
