The womp rat, widely considered to be a pest, was a large, omnivorous rodent native to Tatooine. There were three species of womp rats: ones that lived in Beggar's Canyon, ones that lived in the Jundland Wastes, and swamp womp rats. It was not unheard of for people to have domesticated womp rats as pets, but Luke Skywalker and his friends used to "bulls-eye" womp rats with stun blasts, while flying T-16 skyhoppers, for fun and target practice.
The drought of 2012 has made the Midwest feel like it’s baking beneath Tatooine’s twin suns and has led to prime conditions for womp rats to thrive. Your help is needed ridding the area of these pests.
In order to find this cache, you'll need to zoom through Beggar's Canyon, survive the perils of the Jundland Wastes, and tread lightly along the edge of a local 'swamp'. If you can then bulls-eye a womp rat, you’ll have the cache in hand and you’ll learn that, just like a taun-taun, you thought they smelled bad on the outside!
Beware of Tusken Raiders (muggles) as they travel these parts frequently. At GZ you’ll be afforded slight protection from a ‘canyon wall’, but Force stealth may be necessary.
The cache is located along a new multi-use path easily accessible from the nearby Fox Hill Park and Greenway bicycle trails. Until the Tusken Raiders expand their suburbs, there’s also a spot for parking your T-16 close to the cache, just not in the marked private drive, please.
