Geocache Description:

A quick drive-up with a bit of history. You'll understand why when you get there, but bring a cup or so of seed for our feathered friends.

This cache is located near the Fort St. John Rugby club outside of Fort St. John. The clubhouse has some history to it -- it was originally used as a dance hall during the construction of the Alaska Highway. Apparently ladies didn't get much rest during dances then -- they were outnumbered by men by something like 20 to 1. The building was not originally at this location, but was moved out here later.
