This multi takes you on a journey across the length and height of Kelson, a suburb on the western side of the Hutt River. Kelson was named after George Kells, the original owner of the land, and his son Bill who directed the subdivision, hence the name Kelson.
Most people come to Kelson via Major Drive, but this cache takes you there via the lesser-used Gurney Road (which is very narrow and windy). In fact, it starts slightly further out, on Hebden Crescent (mainly because Gurney Rd is too close to another cache).
Stages 1 and 2 involves the smallest possible device that will hold the coordinates for the next stage. The 3rd and final location has a small camouflaged pill bottle that contains the log but has little room for anything else - byo pen. Final is attached with a magnet that sticks to the bare metal but not the black painted frame.
Muggles are most likely at Stage 1 (driving past) and Stage 3 (where they congregate at regular intervals). Muggles are less likely at Stage 2 - if anyone appears they're probably there for the view.
All locations are accessible by children, but you'll need at least one big person to reach the final container.
While you're travelling from one end of Kelson to the other, check out the other caches in the suburb, including: Hasta La Vista, Baby, Halfway Down...or Up, Kiwi Lifestyle, Speedy's, and Boulder 442 (if you like long walks).
FTF honors to Oresome4some for their first FTF!
