Geocache Description:

Steinsrud husmannsplass ble grunnlagt da Gamle Steinsrud ble nedlagt ca. 1880-1890. Det bodde folk fast på plassen fram til 1959. Ei tømre med 2 rom og et eldhus står der den dag i dag. Plassen hører i dag til gården Staurheim. Kilde: Bø Turlag.
